#1 the official opening of my blog. Lunar New Year Eve! i purposely use the word 'Lunar' instead of 'chinese', simply because nowadays, not only chinese celebrate Lunar New Year. this was taught by Mr.Muru, as a indian, he himself celebrate lunar new year, too. hahhas. woohoo. im so going to help clear the fridge of food. im so helpful k. ohya, later need to 守岁(睡). according to chinese belief... 守岁 is a act of fillial piety for children to stay up for the night of eve til it reaches first day of lunar calender(初一). the word 睡(sleep) sounds like 岁(age). which in turn means that as child/children stay up, they protect n bless their parents. wishing them live til old age, longetivity. woohooooooo. i type this info to the best of my knowledge. =P got tv programme watch, of course 守岁 la! haha x] to the working adults Gong Hei Fatt Choy! to the students 读书进步! to the ladies 永远18岁! Lol! to the elderly 身体健康! to the world bless World Peace! Respect-ed my Love memorial... Labels: lunar, newyear, opening
